Child Safe Organisation
All educators hold current Working with Children Checks. Personal mobile devices banned from use with children from September 2025. Service-supplied devices only.
National Worker Register
Country Kids is registered on the National Early Childhood Worker Register (launched February 2026). All workforce information entered by March 2026 deadline.
Victorian Kinder Funding
Registered with the Victorian Government to deliver funded 3 and 4 Year Old Kindergarten, saving eligible families up to $2,500 per year.

Early childhood education is reforming fast. Country Kids meets each new requirement early — here is where we stand.
January 2026
3-Day CCS Guarantee
All eligible families now guaranteed 72 hours (3 days/fortnight) of subsidised childcare with no activity test required — making care more accessible than ever before.
February 2026
National Early Childhood Worker Register
ACECQA launched the National Register, replacing state registers. Country Kids submitted all required workforce information ahead of the March 2026 deadline.
February – August 2026
Mandatory Child Safety Training
All Country Kids educators are completing the new Foundations of Child Safety module (from 27 Feb 2026) and Victoria’s EC PROTECT module. Advanced training module available July 2026. Full compliance by August 2026.

Tripled Penalties & Increased Transparency
Maximum penalties under the National Law have been tripled. Starting Blocks now shows compliance breach information. Country Kids maintains a clear, transparent compliance record.

ACECQA is developing a new Inclusive Practice Framework. Country Kids actively embeds inclusive education across all 7 rooms in alignment with Disability Standards reforms before Parliament.
